Lachy Hamilton Trio
Twice covid cancelled… be part of third time lucky
pondside groove session, be there to welcome Lachy
Hamilton – sax, Harry Morrison – bass, Patrick
Danao – drums. Sure to be a memorable evening
when dharma bums whanau finally get together
again to celebrate and lift the whole affair to a
higher plane. When first booked, Lachy was
promoting his just released album Alchemy,
inspired by Paulo Coelbo’s book The Alchemist.
Aotearoa tour and dbc gig cancelled before they
got on flight from Sydney. Booked another
dbc date… same thing happened again… in
between then and now, Lachy has been
recording with various groups & composing
new music for the trio, who’ve been playing
together for a decade. So, a dharma bums
reunion with sublime sounds.
